About Us
A neighbourhood wine bar and bottle shop in Anjos, Lisbon. We obsessively curate a list of natural wines and organic fine foods, from small independent producers across France, Italy and Spain. Come for a glass, take a bottle home or stay for the evening.
Rosie’s
Rosie's is an ode to my mother, Rosemary, who taught me from a very young age the joy of visiting the deli, collecting mussels from the local pier, and the magic of sharing food and wine around a dinner table. It’s an ode to a fabulous host and the hospitality of my grandmother and aunts.
It's also a tribute to the decade I spent living in Paris. A humble attempt to bring the energy of Aux Deux Amis, Vivant, and L'Entrée des Artistes circa 2012 to my neighbourhood in Lisbon. A place to drink serious wine, without pretension.
Somewhere you can have a martini or a negroni, eat olives, cheese, charcuterie, meet interesting people. Somewhere to discover new producers, new tastes, and the quiet value of simple things done well.
Natural Wines
Nothing added, nothing removed. We source wines from producers who work this way without compromise. Natural wine is not a trend, nor should it be shorthand for wine that is flawed, funky, or unpredictable. We stock natural wines of exceptional quality.
A few producers we import ourselves: Alessandro Viola, Kumpf et Meyer, Cosmic Vinyaters, Angiolino Maule, Jeux de Vins & Olivier Cohen
We often have bottles to drink-in or take-away fromTony Bornard, Emidio Pepe, Les Marnes Blanches, Matassa, Arianna Occhipinti, Eric Pfifferling L’Anglore, Cantina Giardino, Claire Naudin, Domaine Casiopée, Martin Worner, Patrick Bojou, Jean Marc Dreyer, Ratapoil and more.
We also stock Magnums, Champagne, Vin Jaune, Passito, Campari & Averna.
Fine Foods
Food is not an afterthought at Rosie's. We don’t serve anything ultra-processed or mass produced, every product comes from an artisan preserving real food culture, with a respect for their local environment.
We import preserved vegetables from Olio di Serra in Puglia, anchovies from Conservas Nardin in Cantabria, nitrate-free saucisson from Charcuterie Millas in Tarn, cornichons from Maison Marc in Burgundy, olives from Reieto in Catalonia, and handmade pasta from Pasta d'Amicis in Puglia.
Our cheeses and butter come from Maître Renard, and our sourdough bread from Lully 1661.
Private Events
Rosie's is available for full privatisation. Our terrace, bar and back room combined can accommodate up to 34 seated guests, or up to 50 standing.
The back room works independently as an intimate space for up to 20 standing, ideal for private tastings and small celebrations. In the right hands it’s Lisbon’s tiniest dancefloor.
